Our annual youth symposium is sponsored in conjunction with and in commemoration of Sigma Week, the Sigma Youth Symposium was designed to highlight some of the prevalent concerns that negatively impact our youth: drugs, teen violence, abuse, low self-esteem, suicide, teen pregnancy, etc.

About the Event

Opening our event will be the inspirational Erin Jones.

This years Youth Symposium workshops will be hosted by the following organizations:

Tacoma Housing Authority - Financial Literacy

Museum of Flight - S.T.E.M Themed Event

Seattle Federal Bureau of Investigation - Human Trafficking

We are excited to add a college fair to this years program. Your high school student will be able to have one on one time with college recruiters from:

  • University of Washington
  • Eastern Washington University
  • Tacoma Community College
  • Southern University
  • Cascades Job Corps
  • Saint Martin's University
  • Seattle Pacific University
  • Clover Park Technical College
  • Evergreen State College

A Chick-Fil-A breakfast will be served and lunch will be provided by Popeye's Chicken.

Other food items donated by El Shaddai Christian Ministries.
